Vino Rosso

This blend of Vino Rosso is nothing like you have ever tasted from Ventosa! This big red will enchant your taste-buds with hints of plum, dried fig, tobacco and clove. So why is this blend so much different? We noticed that the Lemberger block used in our Vino Rosso was infected with Leafroll Virus, a common virus particularly in red grapes and significantly reduces the quality and pigment of the grape. For this reason we decided to go off roading with this blend and let Jenna, our winemaker, have full control!  She added a touch of Tempranillo and Zinfandel to mimic the leather and smoky flavors of the Lemberger. In this blend you will find Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Tempranillo and Zinfandel.
