Tasting Notes:

One of the oldest vintages of Merlot found in the Finger Lakes. The vineyard site is located on the western-most slope closest to Seneca Lake for this typically warmer climate varietal.  Aging has smoothed out the tannins and brought out more of the dark berry fruit characteristics. Medium to full bodied.

Winemaker Notes:

Aged in American for 3 years.  Cellar/bottle aged for 1 year before release.

Food Pairing:

Wild Game, Meatloaf, Beef Stew, Burgers
