WEDDING/EVENTS CORDINATOR

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Field phone and email inquiries and send information as requested
  • Assist manager with verbal and written communication and followup with wedding couples/event contacts
  • Assist manager with event details
  • Coordinate the on-site details the day of the event

Qualifications:

  • Must be detail oriented
  • 1 year event experience preferred
  • Must be available to work weekends during the busy season

BANQUET SERVER

We are looking for experienced servers to work weekend evenings through the season.  Competitive wage based on experience

BUSSER

This position is primarily dedicated to banquets that are held weekend evenings and working with our banquet staff.  This person will assist with the activities of both front and back end operations and help expedite work.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Must have a somewhat flexible schedule and be available to work most weekend evenings.
  • Assist banquet staff deliver food
  • Clear & clean tables
  • Refill guests water glasses, as needed

CAFE MANAGER

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee day to day operations of Cafe Toscana
  • Order menu items as needed
  • Manage food prep and costs
  • Hire and manage cafe staff
  • Ability to run the cafe alone on slower days during the off-season
  • Additional responsibilities noted under cafe staff

Requirements:

  • Cafe/restaurant management preferred
  • Must have a somewhat flexible schedule and be available to work most weekends.
  • Must have a friendly personality and clean hygiene.
  • Must be able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • POS system knowledge a plus
  • Must have basic math skills.

CAFE STAFF

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Servicing customers by greeting them, describing menu items, receiving their order and processing the transaction through the cash register (training will be provided).
  • Preparation of menu items, including use of equipment such as microwave, panini grill and pizza oven.
  • Ability to use kitchen tools with confidence and safety.
  • Delivering food to customers at their tables and clearing empty tables.
  • Performing tasks as stated on assigned opening and closing checklists.
  • Ability to cross-train on tasting room responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Must have a somewhat flexible schedule and be available to work most weekends.
  • Must have a friendly personality and clean hygiene.
  • Must be able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.

WINERY STAFF

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Excellent customer service is a must — greet upon arrival, explain tasting process,provide wine samples, provide information on the wines, the winery and the region, assist with purchases.
  • Clean and organize the gift shop area
  • Operate the POS system to carry out customer transactions
  • Ability to work alone, as well as on a team, to facilitate Ventosa’s mission of EXCELLENCE
  • Performing tasks as stated on assigned opening and closing checklists.
  • Ability to cross-train on tasting room responsibilities.
